Adopt-a-Highway Work Party

WHEN: Our next clean up work party will be Saturday 6/5/2010 @ 9 AM.

WHERE: Meet at parking area at Winter Park-side base of Berthoud Pass (miles 236-238)

BRING: Work gloves and weather-appropriate clothes.

PROVIDED: Bags, vest, breakfast things.

At about noon, we’ll head to lunch at Rudi’s Deli, which is nice enough to sponsor our after work lunch.

Last time we filled about 30 bags with hundreds of pounds of trash. All this from just a short 2 mile stretch at the base of Berthoud Pass. The most common items: bottles and cans, cigarette butts (another good reason not to smoke), and food wrappers. Among the more interesting things: front ends of a Toyota and Honda in multiple pieces.

Rain date is 6/19/2010 @ 9 AM. Mark your calendars. We’ll gladly take any help we can get

First Meeting of 2010 Full of Ideas and Resolutions

The first Networking Meeting of the year, appropriate held at Curves of Fraser, was full of new ideas and New Year's Resolutions.
