I'm always looking for creative gifts for adults, but I don't want to spend a fortune! I also like to feel like the gift has meaning. There are so many different artists in Grand County as well as talented people. I'd love to hear about the finds that others have located! What's some of the best stuff out there around $30 or less?

Spend on Advertising or Cutback?
Times are tough in our economy and no one knows that more than business owners trying to keep customers active and happy during a downtime. The questions that all business owners are asking? Should I cutback on advertising or is now the time to spend? Rough times might actually be the best time to spend your marketing dollars. Don’t assume the best approach is to cut marketing budgets when times are tough. Studies confirm that companies who increase or maintain ad spending during recessions achieve 260% higher sales than their competitors who cut ad spending.Throughout history, recessions have helped companies win market share from leading brands
TIPS for businesses:
• You don’t need multi-millions of dollars to advertise
• As the economy falters, resist the natural inclination to cut back
• Do your homework: a good media partner should have access to research, and should continually present strategic thinking and new ideas - regardless of budget
• Make sure you’re advertising at effective levels to gain and retain awareness
• Remember that people connect to media types in their own unique way — play to the strengths of each
