Grand County Businesses Without Borders is a coalition of Grand County Colorado business owners who believe that independent businesses build strong communities. This coalition works to heighten public awareness of the value that small businesses bring to local communities.
There are no dues, there are no memberships, there are no borders. GCBWB promotes a thriving business climate by bringing merchants together and promoting Grand County Colorado businesses in order to extend their entrepreneurial reach.
Many small businesses promote and support GCBWB as a united front to combat the homogenization of this country and slow the replication of cookie cutter developments that have swallowed the soul and uniqueness of many American neighborhoods.
GCBWB participants understand that big box stores develop markets while independent retailers develop communities. Big boxes are neither evil nor invincible, rather they are the elephants of the entrepreneurial jungle, dominating street corners by sheer momentum of their bulk and capital.
Grand County Businesses Without Borders preaches that the best way to turn the behemoth aside is with a solid front of a vital and active small business awareness, outstanding customer service, personal investment and pride in ownership.

New Ideas for the Fifth Annual Business Expo!
In hopes of increasing traffic to the Business Expo, we are giving away a 2009/2010 Winter Park Resort Season Pass and a “Prize Basket”. In order for people to be eligible to win either prize, they must complete a “Scavenger Hunt Exhibitor Card”. Each square must be stamped by ALL participating scavenger hunt exhibitors listed on the card.
In order for an exhibitor to be on the “Exhibitor Scavenger Hunt Card” they must donate a prize. $15.00 is the minimum value a prize can be worth. Prize examples are: Gift Certificate to your business, a bottle of wine with business card attached or whatever you come up with. Discount coupons are not acceptable. Prizes must have a have a dollar amount or be a physical item.
